Chris Llerins is a Barcelona-born artist currently based in Los Angeles, California. Llerins explores the subtle choreography of our body language and interactions. Her practice blends documentary and staged to fracture the pecking order of camera, subject, and spectator. In doing so, she unveils an interdependency that binds us all. She presents her work as confessional, a diary of images marked by symbolism found in the mundane, nonetheless revealed as ceremonial to us as relational beings.
